It's not all that complicated, folks.
John McCain wants to change DC, Barack Obama wants to change America.
One candidate believes in and cares about this country, one doesn't.
It's your vote. Make it count.

Quick hits:

  • President Thompson
By J. Peter Mulhern: Conventional wisdom is hardening around the proposition that Fred Dalton Thompson is too lazy, ill-prepared, tired, old, lackluster, inexperienced, inconsistent and bald to make a successful run for President. Of course, conventional wisdom rarely gets anything right. When it does, it's only by accident. ...
  • A Slow Start?
  • Iraq's Golden Silence
IBD: Ever since the Sept. 10 testimony of Gen. David Petraeus, we've heard less and less from the mainstream media about the war in Iraq. The old adage "no news is good news" has never been truer. ...

Free Burma!
International Bloggers' Day for Burma on the 4th of October

International bloggers are preparing an action to support the peaceful revolution in Burma. We want to set a sign for freedom and show our sympathy for these people who are fighting their cruel regime without weapons. These Bloggers are planning to refrain from posting to their blogs on October 4 and just put up one Banner then, underlined with the words „Free Burma!“.

And here I thought that the democrats had sunk as low as they could possibly go. The nation apparently has no problems. The shortage of energy no longer exists. The ragheads trying to kill Americans no longer exist. In fact no problem is as important as the need for Dingy Harry Reid and Our honorable Viet Nam War Hero and phoney Sen Harkin to stand up on the floor of the US Senate and prove they have no idea at all what really happened by using false information provided by George Soros and his hacks to condemn a radio talk show host. As far as phony soldiers go, try Harkin, and Kerry. Harkin claimed to have flown f-4's over Nam, Kerry managed to fake 3 purple hearts to get his precious butt out of Nam. If there is another person "I refuse to call him a man" that ever used the 3 purple hearts thing to get out of Nam I have never heard of him. Whatever the valient Reid ever did in the military is unknown to me. But for democrats to get on anyone about phoney soldiers is so far beyond the pale as to be total drivel. Hint: hey Reid, Harkin, you might check out what ABC had to say about phoney soldiers, then you might find out what Rush actually said before you make total fools out of yourselves in front of the entire world.
