Bill's Nibbles, Open Post
Contributed by Bill Faith

I'm around, just worn out. Some of you know I generally make the rounds of the major east coast papers right after midnight and do a little posting based on what I see. I'm off my normal rhythm due to a combination of little things and just not up to it tonight. I started to just not post anything then realized someone might worry about me. Don't.

Today at Bill's Bites:

  • 2006.06.07 "No Illegal Left Behind" Roundup
    • *** CLOTURE FAILS !!!  What comes next? ***
    • Amnesty bill collapses? Sunset provision on guest worker program passes
    • Senate OKs amnesty for deportees
    • Amnesty Opponents Making Progress in Senate

Some things I think you'll find interesting that I didn't take time to create separate posts for:

  • Lynne Cheney, Susan Thomas floated as possible replacements for late Sen. Craig Thomas
Lynne Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, is being floated in Senate GOP leadership circles as a possible replacement for the late Sen. Craig Thomas (R-Wyo.), who died Monday night. Susan Thomas, the late senator's wife, has also been mentioned by Senate Republicans as a potential choice to take over for her husband, as well as former Justice Department official Tom Sansonetti.

Please feel free to use this post for comments and trackbacks not related to other posts on the site. If you leave a trackback your post must include a link to this one and, as always, comments claiming the sun will rise in the west tomorrow, Chimpy McHitlerburton lied, etc. will be deleted without ever appearing on the site.

If I left a trackback to your site from this post but you don't see a link that means I decided something I wasn't going to do a separate post on deserved one after all and moved the link there.
