You probably won't hear about it on the news....

....but there was anti-war protest in Times Square yesterday, and the Gathering of Eagles members outnumbered the anti-war crowd. Nationwide, the Gathering of Eagles participated in Operation Recruiter Appreciation, an effort to thank recruiters everywhere for the sometimes thankless work they do. In NY, the GOE took on an additional task - a counterprotest.

While Eagles nationwide were standing up to support our recruiters yesterday, GOE-NY had a special mission. They were countering antiwar leftists in Times Square. The moonbats were planning to show up and do what they called “Torture Theater,” or a “reenactment” of the “torture” that terrorist detainees are undergoing at Gitmo. Never mind that there IS no torture at Gitmo. Never mind that as we speak, three of our nation’s soldiers are undergoing the most horrific torture imaginable at the hands of the enemy. These antiwar leftists have no couth, no respect, no love for our soldiers in harm’s way.

You can watch a slide show of photos both of GOE members and of the anti-war protesters and see the many signs and flags that GOE members brought with them.

No longer will anti-war protesters be unopposed and able to dominate the news. Either the media will cover both sides or none, because GOE will make sure that media crews cannot film protesters in a way that ignores the larger GOE crowd. If they try, their bias will be obvious and captured on film for all to see.
