It's not all that complicated, folks.
John McCain wants to change DC, Barack Obama wants to change America.
One candidate believes in and cares about this country, one doesn't.
It's your vote. Make it count.

Bill's Nibbles // Open Post -- 2007.05.11
Contributed by Bill Faith

Some Bill's Bites posts, some things I excerpted and linked but I'm sending you to the original post, some things too short to excerpt and too good to not mention. I occasionally move things from Bill's Nibbles to longer posts as the day goes on.

Please feel free to use this post for comments and trackbacks not related to other posts on the site. If you leave a trackback your post must include a link to this one and, as always, comments claiming the sun will rise in the west tomorrow, Chimpy McHitlerburton lied, etc. will be deleted without ever appearing on the site.

Off to another late start, this time do to the weather. It was storming when the alarm went off and I went back to sleep for what turned out to be a couple of hours. If you don't have time to read anything else today, don't miss Bryan Preston's post here

  • New era for U.S., France, Germany
Washington DC Examiner (H/T:MM) Amazing, isn’t it, how the conventional wisdom that holds sway among many sophisticated — i.e. liberal — Washingtonians and New Yorkers is often so completely divorced from reality. These folks have come to take it as a given that America’s involvement in Iraq has inflicted severe damage to our nation’s image abroad, especially in Europe. But the most recent national election results from France and Germany demonstrate that this “truth” about George W. Bush’s America is about as credible as the recurring rumor that Elvis is actually alive and well flipping hamburgers in happy obscurity somewhere near Seattle.
  • Conventional Wisdom Wrong Again
