It's not all that complicated, folks.
John McCain wants to change DC, Barack Obama wants to change America.
One candidate believes in and cares about this country, one doesn't.
It's your vote. Make it count.

Please feel free to use this post for comments and trackbacks not related to other posts on the site. If you leave a trackback your post must include a link to this one and, as always, comments claiming the sun will rise in the west tomorrow, Chimpy McHitlerburton lied, etc. will be deleted without ever appearing on the site.

Some Bill's Bites posts, some things I excerpted and linked but I'm sending you to the original post, some things too short to excerpt and too good to not mention. I occasionally move things from Bill's Nibbles to longer posts as the day goes on:

  • March 28, 2003
"Critter" Crittenden: Late on the afternoon of the 28th, Cyclone Company’s tanks bounded ahead of us. They chose a route directly through our camp, kicking dust over everything. We now had the relative security of a kilometer or so between us and enemy contact. We set up camp chairs at dusk, admiring a brilliant desert sunset as we ate our MREs. The LT remarked, “It’s surreal. It’s hard to believe we’re at war and there are people out there who want to kill us. Back home, our families are probably all freaked out, thinking we’re in all kinds of danger.”  ...
  • The Flexible Loyalty Of Jim Webb
Ed Morrissey: The case of the loaded gun got a little stranger yesterday after Senator Jim Webb spoke to reporters about the incident. His senior aide, Phillip Thompson, had just spent his 45th birthday being arraigned for carrying what Thompson claimed was Webb's gun through a Capitol Hill security checkpoint. However, while Webb charmed the press corps with his explanation for why he violates District of Columbia gun laws, he made it clear that Thompson can expect no public support for his assistance in doing so:
  • In The Trenches
Jules Crittenden: We’re all in the trenches in this war. ... Since Day One people just like you and me have been forced to go over the top up in the airways.  Passengers who try to be good self-defending citizens will soon have legal protection from nuisance suits under the Flying Imams Shield Law. Allahu akhbar!  Vid link is here, by the Beard of the Prophet!  ... This is a multi-front war, we all know that, and the trenches aren’t just in Iraq and Afghanistan. In the Battle of Capitol Hill, the victors are eager to surrender. And eat. Pork. Lots of it. ...

As to the "I am John Doe", everyone should read it, live by it.
