Even if Bush sends the entire US Armed Forces, including all reserve components, plus the Uniformed Boy Scouts, and the Peace Corps, it will do no good if they are not allowed to carry out their mission in an effective manner - that is violently, and with no concern for the resentments of our declared enemies. Collateral damage is the price Iraqi "civilians" pay for sheltering the Hajjis amongst themselves. And if Syria, and particularly Iran wish to be rear area support bases, they must accept that "rear area" means "rear area OF THE COMBAT ZONE". Ordinarily I detest James "Snakehead" Carrville and all his works, but this time I'm going to paraphrase him - "ITS THE ROEs STUPID!"
