The Nature Of Non-Trivial Things
Contributed by Bill Faith I'll put up with a lot from my Guest Authors without interfering or saying too much, but I do have my limits. I'll be damned if I'll stand by quietly while anyone Yes, deaths happen in war; yes they died for a worthy cause; no their deaths don't mean we should bug out and let the jihadis win. "Trivial?" You just found a way to get on this Old Dogs fightin' side. Twenty families are grieving lost loved ones tonight. Zero, why don't you write each and every one of those families and explain how "trivial" those losses were? Maybe Markos will let you borrow his "Screw 'em" line. *** I note that Zero has updated his post and that I misinterpreted his meaning. It seems that he and I are, after all, in full agreement about the nature of things that matter as opposed to trivial things like my post . *** It's clear at this point that I've upset a number of people by misinterpreting Zero's post. I thought he said something he didn't, my blood pressure did bad things, and I reacted to what I thought he's said. Apologies are in order and I hereby apologize. I'll resist the temptation to "hide the evidence" by editing or deleting my original post. |

I clearly said we lead trivial lives and a slap in the face is sometimes needed to get our attention. I did add an edit. Posted by: | Jan 21, 2007 4:48:24 AM |
