Making the Mullahs' Wishes come True?
Contributed by George Mellinger

I did not want to know this. At least not now. Not yet. But I desperately want this to be true. Good things should be kept as surprises. And of course you can always count on a reporter to spoil the fun. But now that everyone else knows, you might as well read it too.

ISRAEL has drawn up secret plans to destroy Iran’s uranium enrichment facilities with tactical nuclear weapons.

Two Israeli air force squadrons are training to blow up an Iranian facility using low-yield nuclear “bunker-busters”, according to several Israeli military sources.

The rest is here.

For the longest time I've been insisting that if Amadinnerjacket wants a nuke we should just give him a few. Is somebody finally paying attention? Of course its not an American.

The Emperor Misha I has a thing about buying Pizza for the Israeli Defense Forces every time they snuff a terrorist. Wonder what he'll do if they pull off this deed? It'd deserve something more'n pizza.

Mazel tov!

While all the rumors and tips this reporter has put down may be true, and I say may be, the go order will have to be done over the west's objections.

The fact being, if Israel asks for permission.

Which I don't really see them doing. They might give us a heads up, but it would be so late as to not be able to stop them. There are just too many leaks in our Capitol.

I liked this:

"However, the nuclear-tipped bunker-busters would be used only if a conventional attack was ruled out and if the United States declined to intervene, senior sources said."

Which negates the whole thrust of the article and gives the author a way out, if nothing....or something...happens.

Besides, anyone with a minor amount of knowledge about the military, knows that you always plan and train for all possiblilites.

We have a year or so before things will be given to another administration. We can only hope that in some way, Iran is deprived of any and all hopes of ever having nukes.

But, I wouldn't bet more than you can afford to lose on it.
