I know you have done some articles in the past on the Haditha Marines and hoped you would be interested in publishing information on a new defense fund that has been started by several supporters on Free Republic forum. (www.freerepublic.com) 

There is now a Defense Fund established for the Haditha Marines. To aid the civilian defense of the eight accused, send donations to:

Your donation can be earmarked to one of the accused or to all of the Haditha Marines who stand trial. Write your preference on the memo line of the check.

When I wrote back to say I'd be glad to post her letter Kathy ("Pink Panther") wrote back to make sure I knew the fund also has a web site at http://www.marinedefensefund.com/index.html.

People, I don't know whether these Marines did what they're accused of or not, but I do know they're entitled to a fair trial. How about helping them get one?
