We were at war for a while.

How Our Military “Justice” System is Working for the Terrorists
Emperor Darth Misha I

Sounds harsh?

Then how else would you describe a “justice” system relying exclusively on Iraqi “witnesses” that are proven liars, not to mention using undue pressure on our own soldiers to get them to admit to deeds they haven’t done?

While the MSM and the “moral high ground” blogs work themselves into an orgasmic frenzy of “the justice system works”, you ought to treat yourself to a read about the actual FACTS of the Haditha incident, and nobody is better qualified to do that than LCs and IBs Kit and Heidi of Euphoric Reality. Together, they have put more hours into researching Haditha than anybody else, something that has brought Kit in particular a lot of very unwelcome attention, and it’s pretty obvious that it isn’t al-Qaeda that are ticked off at her. It’s much worse than that.

The fact of the matter is that everybody in the neighborhood knew of the IEDs but did nothing to warn the Marines, that the Marines were under heavy fire from the houses where the “innocent civilians” were “executed”, that every single Iraqi witness used by the prosecution is compromised either by having an axe to grind with the U.S., a proven history of lying, inconsistencies in testimony, or ties to insurgents, sometimes a combination of all of the above.

The FACT of the matter is that our Marines are guilty of nothing but doing their jobs exactly the way they were trained to do them.

So call the Stalinist show trials that are to follow what you will, just don’t insult my Imperial intelligence by associating them, in any shape, form or fashion, with justice. ...

This country was at war for a while right after those towers came down. Guess we aren't any more. How many more will have to die before we are again?

Thanks for posting this Bill. I've been about to blow a gasket over our JAG and the military in whole for letting this bull shit proceed to this point. The %*&^%@# F&#*%;s prosecutors need to join Nifong in jail...very soon. Have two Marine NCO relatives and they are quite PO'd about the way things have gone. They're probably not re-upping when the time comes up. This is one of the reasons. A whole lot of experience and talent will be lost.

Was going to write somthing on this myself, but kept getting too pissed off to use acceptable language. If these men are convicted, I've been thinking of turning myself in for things that happened in 1972 when we couldn't tell enemy from friendly. Damn, it does happen. Every one of these JAGs prosecutors should be required to have confirmed combat experience before being allowed to bring charges. I just hope they are judged by some experienced peers that aren't scared of losing their rank. This particular case should never have made it this far.

It's definitely a play from the old anti-war My Lai playbook. Lies and theatre, old VVAW tactics taught to the enemy.

Steaming!
