Beating a dead horse and/or stating the obvious
Contributed by Zero Ponsdorf

As Bill noted here.  Kerry is now  one step back from a Presidential wannabe. Every iota of energy expended concerning him is wasted!!!

Please folks... allow common sense to reign. Kerry is a trivial thing. We do have a plethora of issues that have more merit.

1 - Will congress turn the next two years into a pool of muddied water?
2 - Will Sharia law sneak in here as it has in Britain?
3 - Will you be speaking Spanish?

Those are but a tiny enumeration of very real issues facing us.

Reality sucks! Want the government to decide who gets health care? Want the government to decide what your kids are taught?

Move on... if Kerry gets nominated,  or worse Edwards, we will deal with that. But please stop wasting energy on Kerry for now.

Zero, we have plenty of space and bandwidth available to post about multiple topics. The four Founding Dogs came to be friends to begin with due to a shared hatred of John Kerry and an occasional gloat about his fall from grace doesn't really take up that much space. This is one old Dog who intends to continue kicking his sorry carcass every chance I get.

Do understand your point Zero, but I want to keep kicking him too! The SOB needs to burn in hell and that's to good for me.

I expended time and money to beat Kerry, I was at the rally in DC and setting along the road here in WV.

The post I noted seemed to be the final call for Kerry (thank you). It also re-enforced my notion that there are better ways to spend time than Kerry. You will do what you have to do, I will do what I have to do.

When it all shakes out I hope we are not surrounded by Spanish speaking Muslims because we could kick Kerry's ass.

Let me know when the sorry S.O.B. takes back the baby killer accusation and I'll move on to other things. I spend roughly 16 hours a day online, devoted to this blog, Bill's Bites, and in the foreseeable future a moderator role on an MSM Malpractice wiki. I can lift my leg on Kerry's carcass in less time than it takes me to make a fresh pot of coffee. Did I keep you from posting something you felt the need to post about by taking two minutes to gloat over the fact that even the lefties as HuffPo have turned on him?

Zero,
I sympathize with you, but I agree with Bill and Cav. There is always reason to put the boot in yet one more time. Sure, we have to be attentive to the new threats, but a guy's entitled to a little bit fo fun, isn't he? Besides, I've got many long memories. One of them is of a future Ketchup Consort in 1972 disgracing himself. Another memory is of the All-Conquering Newt in February 1995 proclaiming that Slick Willie was now beaten and disgraced, and we needn't bother finishing him off, but could ignore him till he was run out of town in November 1996. I've not yet forgiven Newt for that arrogant blunder. And I notice that Kerry is still wasting the oxygen of far better people. So let us have our fun. And yes, I think we should still keep forking Murtha as well. He ain't done yet neither.

Rurik,
There is little question that Kerry is a monumental shithead, but he's only one of many as he drifts further back in the pack.

In terms of a simple threat analysis he is currently so far down in the noise as to be trivial.

He has little risk attached and needs little mitigation. All that may change, but for now I'll be looking elsewhere.

A reasoned case might be made (weasel words) that every post about him actually enhances his position... any publicity is good publicity, but have at him.
