Two years?
Contributed by Bill Faith

It seems longer. ...  It seems like last week.

As far as I can tell, this was my first effort to express my thoughts on the matter.

Allahpundit writes:

Two years ago today. I was still doing the old Allah blog at the time and remember watching the photos come over the wires that night, thinking it was the worst thing I’d ever see save, of course, for 9/11. That’s still true two years later, thank god.

Words fail me.

Indeed. Thank you for the reminder.
This is why I am so insistent that Russia and America must stand together against Islamic terrorism. Some American leaders continue to misuse slogans of freedom to champion the Chechens against the Russians. Just as too many Russian leaders continue to support Radical Muslims as a way to cut Uncle Sam off at the knees. I remind my Russian friends of the Battle of the Kalka, when the Tatars first turned the defending Russian and Cuman forces against each other and massacred them both. To my fellow Americans, let me quote Ben Franklin, We must hang together, or we shall surely hang separately.
As with the Germans in the 1940s, we should focus on the task at hand. We can go back and resume any important disputes later, after we have finished the most important business.
