The NORAD 9-11 Tapes
Contributed by George Mellinger Here is an unusual view of September 11. Vanity Fair has published No teaser quotes, just go read it. This is an important article. First, it should kill the pernicious myth that the USAF shot down one of the airliners. Second, an even more important, it gives us a look at an unfolding crisis. When its SHTF writ large everything comes apart at the seams. The people are hit by information of which they cannot make heads or tails because it is a totally unimagined situation. If its something they've well-trained for and are expecting, its not SHTF. Not only are they hit by valid information which makes no sense, but also by even vaster amounts of false information and misleading warnings. this is the essence of coping with every disaster, civil or military. You don't know what is going on, and the situation keeps changing faster than you can get out in front of it. This same sort of confusion and disorientation is what will occur again at the next Terrorist surprise. I guarantee that. And no, you cannot train for every imaginable scenario. There's not enough time and resources to train for everything, so you train for some, hope you guessed right, and get called names when the enemy thinks eve further out o the box than you did. But of course, if you think and plan for the really drastic possibilities, you will be called an alarmist or a paranoid. They confirmed my suspicion that the primary target for American 77 was the Whitehouse. The hijackers surveyed their primary target and programmed their GPS to the closest point of public access, the iron gate on Pennsylvania Ave. They hijacked the aircraft, turned off the transponder, and circled around Washington at low altitude to stay below radar and centered needle. So why American 77 hit the Pentagon rather than the Whitehouse? It occurred to me at my next door neighbor's wedding reception at the Old Ebbits Grill. Ebbits is at 15th Ave and F Street, literally next door to the mansion. From the 8th story roof, I looked west, down at the 4 story Whitehouse. To the right was Lafayette Park and across H Street, a wall of 12+ story office buildings. To the left, the profile of the Pentagon was clearly visible. My theory is that the airliner flying just above the office buildings would not have seen the Whitehouse until at a range of 1200 feet. At 450 knots (760 ft/sec) there would have been no time to lower the nose and hit the building. It would have been very embarrassing to have missed. Would they have gotten their 72 virgins if all they had done was put a divot in the Mall? What do the dogs think?
