It's not all that complicated, folks.
John McCain wants to change DC, Barack Obama wants to change America.
One candidate believes in and cares about this country, one doesn't.
It's your vote. Make it count.

Hitchens Gives the Finger to Maher's Audience for 'Frivolous' Jeering of Bush

Writer/author Christopher Hitchens on Friday night gave the finger to the Los Angeles studio audience of HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher. As he laid out the case for how it's Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who wants World War Three, not George W. Bush, Hitchens cited how Ahmadinejad “says the Messiah is about to come back.” Maher quipped: "So does George Bush, by the way.” That caused a loud eruption of audience applause and cheering, which led Maher to clarify: “That's not facetious.” The crowd continued to applaud as Hitchens remarked, about those in attendance who had earlier cheered and laughed as Maher called Bush an “idiot” repeatedly: "That's not facetious. Your audience, which will clap at apparently anything, is frivolous.” Loud oohs and groans emanated from the audience, prompting Hitchens to give them the finger as he castigated them, “Fuck you, fuck you,” while the groans continued. Excellent post. For those who don't have any iota of understanding of the threats our nation faces and refuse to listen to logic the only thing Hitchens could do was either throw up his hands or speak in the language of the morons.

Hitch spoke for me.

Hitch sure as hell didn't play the PC game that time and I'd be willing to bet he thought about throwing a bird at Bill Maher too. I used to have a vid around here of GWB flipping off a camera man back in 2004 but I can't find it for some reason.
Anyhow, it takes more than just a few words to get the point made with some people, and a little attitude is required sometimes. Believe me, I know: John Kerry gave me mine.

It's too early in the morning for me to watch Bill Maher, the sanctimonious,smug-faced,a-hole. These people really don't have a clue. It galls me to think that they have a say in my country defending my family and my home. As for the back and forth about dueling messiahs, Ahmadinajhad is trying to create a coming of their 12th Imam. President Bush is going to accept whenever Christ returns. I know by the time this little get together was onto that topic Hitchens had already had it up to here``` with all those deluded pea-brains.
