It’s one in a series of pieces from various (mostly left-leaning) intellectuals and politicians commissioned by New York magazine. Karol sent me the link to Sullivan’s submission a few hours ago and I was ten paragraphs in before I realized it wasn’t a parody. ...

As much as I hate to admit it, the Sullivan article really is well written if you just view it as alternative-history fiction and ignore that fact he's stil a dumbass in real life. Maybe you should read it too.
