This provides one more illustration of how little these coiffed talking heads know of their own country and the armed forces that serve so that these pompous dumb asses can freely make such ridiculous statements. William’s has thoughtlessly just handed the bad guys a true propaganda coup; he’s handed them the weapon of moral equivalence with which they can justify to themselves and the world that their suicide bombers are nothing more than Jihad’s special operations forces.
What Williams doesn’t get (among multitudes of things about our armed forces that he and his kind never seem to get) is that the only goal shared by Islamofascist suicide bombers and our Rangers, Seals and Special Forces is that at the end of the operation, the Jihadi bastards are dead. Our special ops guys are highly trained, deadly warriors, who use skill and intelligence to fight to win and live to fight another day.
Any dumbass can be a suicide bomber; Brian Williams comes to mind.
