Does anyone besides me think that idea absolutely stinks? Yeah, the ROKs are our friends, and all that, but I think it's also pretty obvious they'd be willing to sacrifice American troops to save their own. What rocket scientist comes up with these brainfarts?

Was this drizzle shit idea really from the Pentagon? I'd thunk only Foggy Bottom could come up with something this incompetent.
Hell, the ROKs haven't even been our friends for the last decade or more. They keep bad mouthing our troops, and comlaining that we won't treat Curley Jong Il as our newest boyfriend. Our troops are no longer there to enforce restraint on the North, but upon ourselves; hostages to our continuing reluctance to confront Chairman Curley.
We should have redeployed our troops ten years ago, and let the ROKs take over their own defense, if they think they need any. Now we ought to rectify that oversight at once.
