It's not all that complicated, folks.
John McCain wants to change DC, Barack Obama wants to change America.
One candidate believes in and cares about this country, one doesn't.
It's your vote. Make it count.

Flower Power Never Won A War
Contributed by Bill Faith

You really don't want to miss today's Vent. While we're on the subject, don't miss the related images at Sancturary.

Off to a late, slow start today Dogs. Those of you who've known me a while know I tend to go balls out on things for a while, then need some serious down time to recover. I'm gonna have to cut down a little on my blogging for a while and do my best to just stay on top of my blogmeister role.  Surely there's no way all of you can watch that Hot Air video linked above without at least one or two of you having more to say on the subject.  Blog on!

I hope old war dogs who happen to be Liberal and Proud of It can post here.

I've got some of those beautiful ribbons posted at the top of the page and freedom does taste different to me. But this veteran, is on the other side folks.

I've got a nephew in the Baghdad area, just moved down there from up with the Kurds. I sure hope he doesn't have to die because our current leadership doesn't have a clue how to protect the US.

In fact, Dubya and his Neocon puppeteers are destroying the United States of America. Forget about our reputation and our moral leadership in areas like torture; the big deal is the attempted destruction of the Constitution. Forget checks and balances, we're being led toward a monarchy and stopping that just might require making the "civil war" hot.

I also think there's something wrong inside the head of someone who can enjoy fantasies about killing people. I've killed people, and it wasn't ever fun. I assure you that I am as alarmed about Pat Robertson and James Dobson as Rurick is about Michael Moore. But I don't expect to ever have to go after them with weapons, God will take care of them in due time.

BTW, I do understand strategies, tactics, and operations, and I am an excellent marksman. If this becomes a hot war, you'll find out that there are a lot of people like me on the other side.
