As the only "full time" Old War Dog, I always feel guilty about any extended period of time I spend offline. I know the other Dogs all have lives independent of this site but for the most part I don't; this is "what I do," and it's important to me. As webmaster and site host I feel an obligation to the other Dogs to carry my share of the load, and recently I haven't. My health problems have been wearing on me worse than usual recently and on top of that I'm going to lose several hours tomorrow for a trip to the VA hospital. I also just found out a couple of hours ago that my ex-mother in law passed away yesterday. We didn't get along and I won't be going to the services but if my daughter and/or my ex come up that will impact my activities. Just to ice the cake I haven't had internet access for almost two hours now (as of 2006.08.23.16:10 CDT) and Charter Communications can't make any promises yet about when the problem will be fixed; all I know for sure is it isn't personal. I'll post this eventually but I may be back from the doctor before I can for all I know. Ain't modern technology wonderful?

My internet connection finally came back sometime between 18:45 and 19:00. Got some catching up to do.
