A little levity

As I re-joined 'the connected' I found this at  Drudge.

Washington Traffic Jam? Senators-Only Elevator

In addition to lofty issues of war and peace, the Senate is grappling with another urgent matter: the senators-only elevators at the Capitol are being overrun by the unelected.

Not earth shattering, nor of deep consesequence as other events might be. Still the image of our princely congresscritters having to share an elevator with herds of 'the great unwashed' struck me as funny.

West Virginia's own Robert C. Byrd of West Virginia — have gained a reputation for hostile glares (or grumbles) when confronted by elevator interlopers.

And if the 'interloper' happens to be black? Nah, I won't go there... But if you want to; check out a little history here, from Michelle Malkin written a few years ago.
