The NYT's is a failed institution and is no longer relevant in the real world. Fish wrappers are out of style, and the papers are just fluttering in the breeze. Maybe they need figure out why their stock is in the tank. Ya I know, they wouldn't have any idea what a tank was for. Probably run over our country if they did get it started, but I doubt that will ever happen. They have lost their control of the masses and are in their own self induced nose dive. I love it! Posted by: Jim Bartimus | Jul 10, 2006 10:29:30 PM Posted by: Trevor First of all, their stock is not in the tank. If you look at the stock performance for the past month, its been quite bullish. For the quarter and past year, stock is tanking but all this free Right-wing attention, PR marketing and silly protests in front of the building are now making this stock more appealing and its sales are starting to increase. It still meets its earnings and its divident yield is still climbing. Most analysts agree that this is a good stock to hold and rarely disappoints. It is still a favorite amonst institutional investors who enjoy the reliable yield and earnings. The price of the stock crossed above its 50 day average last week and analysts agree that there is a definate strengthening in the stocks value. People walking around in NYTs T-shirts and posting (and disgracing) WWII posters for a Right-wing agenda with the NYTs is free publicity that you couldn't pay for if you wanted. Although there are a handful of Americans whining about the NYTs in a truly non-eventful fashion, the other media outlets held by the NYTs including the numerous regional media outlets in mostly red states (AL, NC, FL,SC,CA) are doing quite well. Red state America is buying the Times. Point: You all are your own worst enemy. Thanks for increasing my portfolio. Would you all mind whining about Disney for a while so that stock will go up too.
