More on the North American Union

Bush Administration Fast-Tracks Formation of North American Union

Jerry Corsi is still ringing the alarm bells.

This whole thing continues to confuse me.  This process exemplifies everything the liberal/left/anarchist finds abhorrent and evil about Western Big Business; capitalism, exploitation of workers, backroom deals, and, of course, President Bush.

However, I have yet to find a coherent reason why they're not hitting the streets and blogs in outrage. A meeting of the IMF or the World Bank send them into a rage, but the SPP doesn't?

Of course, there's also no visible reaction from the Labor Unions. The free flow of cheap labor should have every union member up in arms, but no?

As a postscript: Here's one paragraph from the first page of the SPP.gov site:

This trilateral initiative is premised on our security and our economic prosperity being mutually reinforcing. The SPP recognizes that our three great nations are bound by a shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic institutions.

So Canada=The United States=Mexico!?!?

As I said, I'm confused.
