Chutzpah
Contributed by Bill Faith

I guess that's what you have to have to do a post like this,  but then my mama didn't raise no bashful kids. In my feeble defense I'll mention that someone else, whose identity I'll protect, put the seed of the idea in my head.

We have BlogAds running on three sites so far and we're going to be ordering some more, but we can't afford to put them everywhere we'd like to. So, if we haven't sent you money but you love us anyway, you are hereby invited to put a picture of one of our ads on your site. We can't pay you for it but if you'll leave a comment on this post  telling me what you did I'll do a "Thank you" post and try to send you some traffic. To make it easier, I'm providing links to pictures on our server so you don't even have to use your own bandwidth for the pictures; one of those few times when hot-linking to someone else's graphic isn't considered un-cool.

http://www.oldwardogs.us/files/B5-1.jpg is this image,

http://www.oldwardogs.us/files/B5-1S.jpg is this smaller one,

http://www.oldwardogs.us/files/MV-1.jpg is this one,

and http://www.oldwardogs.us/files/MV-1S.jpg is this one.

If you do use one of these images, please make sure it links to http://www.oldwardogs.us/ and not back to this post. I thank you, the other Dogs thank you, the three-week-old Shiranian puppy in the next room (definitely not a war dog) thanks you.

Hi JB and All,

Have added one to my blog and am not only happy to do so, but this ex Air Force Brat,
is also damn proud to have a mention of the Old War Dogs on her blog.

Question: What is the policy on the posting of blog content from OWD,
on another's blog? I understand that credit should always be given,
with a snippet of the linked article alone.

But what of the amazing poetry of Russ Vaughn?

It seems to me that if the entire piece was not shown in full that,
it would take away from the emotion behind his astounding work.
Again with full credit and link, of course.
I have a tiny little blog, but I would so love to share his artistry,
with my readers.

Regards,
Scarlett

Was more than happy to do this! I have a fledgling blog (as is evident! But I am learning more each day). Sites like yours are an inspiration to me and what I am attempting to do with my blog. My husband is an active duty Army Medic on his way to Iraq, which makes this even more important. Instead of a thank you to me, I would rather see a send off with well wishes to my husband (though no "payment" is necessary at all!).

Kind Regards,

Becki

No witty comment comes to mind to excuse the fact that I spelled my site's name incorrectly in the URL of my original post. This link is correct. Yikes.

Hi All
Just added image to my new blog. It isn't a clickable image.
Do not know how to do that in HTML. But I did add titled link
right beneath it. If and when I figure that out, I'll create
a clickable one. HTML sure aint BB Code lol

Hello
Just wanted to tell you all that I have figured out the HTML code for your graphic.
Yay! I also have a confession to make. Since I was on a roll,
I also (stole) your idea of the "I will not submit" graphic that links
to Michelle's "9/11 pledge: "I will not submit"" page. Damn good idea BTW.
I'll get to that e-mail as soon as I can Bill. (And thanks) I have been so
busy setting up my new blog, adding content, networking & RSS'ing etc.
I am worn out!
