Al-Jazeera Is Not the Whole Story
Contributed by John Werntz

Alexandra von Maltzan, at All Things Beautiful , has a link to the editorial in Kuwait's Arab Times by its Editor-in-Chief, Achmed Al-Jarallah, that has been widely cited since the outbreak of hostilities in Lebanon.  The column is superb and places the blame for the current bloodshed squarely in the lap of Iran, Syria, and Hezbollah.  She quotes the full piece, but the second link--direct to the Arab Times--must be followed.

We Murkins have a tendency to make snap judgments.  I, for one, always thought Al-Jazeera was the unique voice of the Middle East.  Wrong.  There are strong voices of reason, and a quick tour via  the Opinions tab in the left sidebar of the Kuwaiti newspaper will disabuse you.  That accomplished, please do not fail to tab back to Alexandra's blog and get a load of her scathing criticism of the MSM in general, and CNN in particular.  She is brilliant and slashing. Enjoy your shower in CNN's hemoglobin.
